Grazi Corbellini Gadia has a bachelor’s degree in communication, specialized in market research. For almost 20 years, she worked in advertising agencies managing their customers. Grazi is an artist as well, but her deepest wish was always to be a psychologist to help people, particularly those with special needs. Gaucha, from Porto Alegre, Grazi followed her heart to Weston, Florida, when she married another gaucho, a neuro-pediatrician specialized in autism, Dr. Carlos Gadia. She left all her life behind in Brazil, her job, her art, her family and friends. But, she gained two gifts: getting close with families of autistic children with whom she connected instantly, and an opportunity to rescue her identity through her artwork. Now she looks at art as her job and her therapy. She can say that her currrent project – Eyecontact – Lives Shaped by Autism - was born from this major change in her life.

“I love collectiveness and working as a team. I love people.”
